Carter was a force to be reckoned with in the reps I was able to watch from him at the first SDSU prospect camp of the summer. I loved the forceful hand placement and striking ability that Carter brought on his reps and it was on every rep I seemed to have watching in Brookings. Carter has also developed a greater foot speed as a pull-blocker that what I watched during the season that I witnessed at SDSU as it’s no wonder he picked up multiple offers from this last Jackrabbits prospect camp. Riser in our eyes at PRZ MN in the 2026 class. Twitter

Another Lakeville North Panther qualifying as one of the state’s biggest winners from the spring recruiting window, Crawford’s rise to the top of some regional DII heavyweight’s recruiting boards was as swift as his pulling ability on tape. Crawford, a rising three-year starter who already has two All-District nods under his belt in the Class 6A ranks of the Metro, earned his first offer two months after his junior tape went public, as the Bemidji State Beavers showed that Crawford was a priority target with a very early offer to the OC/OG. Winona State joined in with an offer last week, and Crawford has also taken visits to St. Thomas and South Dakota State in the meantime. The owner of some of the most memorable junior film in the class, Crawford is an aggressive, thunderous hitter with a low center of gravity and a TON of pop at the contact, and with his physical dominance against Big School competition, ability to get out of his stance and change direction smoothly, and natural leverage advantages, he’s only going to get more popular. I hope to see Crawford padded up at a couple of the upcoming regional summer camps in June.

There are bigger, more overwhelming offensive linemen in the MN 2026 class, but in terms of sheer, simple, pad-cracking, highlight tape-worthy pop, I don’t think anyone is touching Lakeville North’s Carter Crawford Carter Crawford 6'0" | 265 lbs | OL Lakeville North | 2026 State MN . There’s a reason the 6′, 265 lb. LG is already a two-way starter and 2x All-District selection in one of Minnesota’s most talent-rich areas of 6A, as this kid is a bowling ball of a puller who treats DL and LBs like pins on a Friday night. Besides the pulling, I find myself most impressed with how physical and strong he is when winning at the initial contact point. Crawford’s heavy hands and aggressive punch help the 265 lber. noticeably knock defenders backward and take the air out of their lungs, and if he gets you off-balance it’s game over. The bull of a LG runs defenders off their feet tramples and overwhelms when climbing to the second level and even in simple down blocks, leaving LBs and even DL scurrying away and out of the play like a herd of cattle. The mauler freezes, stuns, and knocks opponents off their feet and onto their butts when he squares them with a full head of steam as a puller, leaving defenders flat on their backs and trying to figure out what happened. Would love to see Crawford padded up in person this camp season, and if he can win 1v1 assignments in camps as physically dominantly as he does on tape, he’s going to be a popular NSIC iOL target, especially if he’s 6′. Big-time potential stock riser here!
