About Carlos

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with discipline, speed, and intelligence. As a versatile defensive back, I read plays quickly, stay locked in on my assignments, and compete for every ball. I’m physical when I need to be, but patient and smart in coverage. My goal is to make every rep count and outwork every opponent.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I stay grounded, keep a sense of humor, and try to lift up the people around me. I care about my teammates and friends, and I always try to do my best while having fun along the way.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I volunteer at local community centers servicing the homeless and the vulnerable.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I lead by example, support my teammates, and always give my best. I enjoy helping my community and being someone others can count on both on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is staying focused and motivated while juggling school, football, and life outside of sports. There were times it felt overwhelming, but I learned to push through, stay disciplined, and keep improving. Those challenges taught me how to work hard, stay patient, and never take opportunities for granted.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a D1 program that values hard work, development, and teamwork. I want a school where I can continue improving on and off the field, compete at a high level, and be part of a supportive team culture.
