. The 5’11 215 RB/LB has 82 carries for 452 yards and 7 touchdowns with 7 receptions for 38 yards. 61 total tackles (11 solo, 50 assisted), 9 TFL, and 2 QB pressures. Good athletic ability due to very good speed, balance, good acceleration, and change of direction. Petree uses his very good vision to pick, slide, and accelerate into the hole. Very good inside running and outside running. He thrives with contact, consistently creating yards after contact. It takes multiple defenders to take him down. He’s a great downhill linebacker. Very good read and reaction speed. Good range from sideline to sideline. Very good tackler and run support. Good blitz take off and a good bull rush as well. This two-way stud is looking ahead for a big game against Mullen, on both sides of the ball.

Every time Petree had the ball, Pine Creek was moving it downfield. The 5’11 215-pound running back had 63 carries for 489 yards and 6 touchdowns, averaging 7.8 yards per carry. Petree is a powerful downhill back. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, balance, good speed, and change of direction. He got good vision at the line of scrimmage. Once he gets past the 1st level of defense, he’s a threat. Petree has home run speed and isn’t afraid to use it. He’ll bounce off of defenders like a tennis ball. He has very good mental processing and competitive toughness. Petree consistently falls forward for the extra yards. A defender was holding his leg, and Petree would not stop until he got his touchdown. He didn’t even get free from his grasp; he just dragged him for a couple of yards. I was very impressed with how he played against Cherry Creek which has future CFB talent all over its defensive line. Keep an eye out for Petree.

Petree had a nice outing against Cherry Creek. The RB/LB had a total of 16 carries for 74 yards and 1 touchdown with 4 total tackles. He measures in at 5’10 210-pounds. Petree was consistently thumping against the defense, eating away with each yard. Petree used his good athletic ability to create quick cuts making defenders miss, looks like he is bouncing off the OL. Petree is a bruiser. He puts his shoulder pads down and runs through defenders. When multiple defenders are tackling him, he uses his powerful legs to push forward. A play that stood out to me was his direct snap TD. He leaped over both teams into the endzone. Good performance from the junior, against a stout Cherry Creek defense.
