Green is among the better linebackers in the state of Missouri. Definitely showcased that with strength and athleticism combination. Would consistently redirect the running backs in one on one getting them off their routes. Then would make plays on the ball when in the air. The projectable upside really jumps out with Green!

I wrote about a few of the talented Lee’s Summit North 2027 class back in the fall for PrepRedzoneMO, and only a few short months later we’re seeing those impressive young bucks already begin to reel in the offers. In recruiting, it’s always useful to follow bloodlines, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that for that reason alone we had to include freshman 5’11, 220 lb. LB/EDGE

, younger brother of Oklahoma-turned-Mizzou OT Cayden Green, however, the younger Green’s game speaks for itself as well. We’re not the only ones to think so, as Big12 competitor UCF became the 2027 prospect’s first offer in mid-April, setting the stage for what one day could become a very high-profile recruitment.
Not a lot of film from 2023, but from what you can gather from the limited reps + his performances at various un-padded offseason camps, Green is comfortable and dynamic as a pass rusher, showing off an explosive get-off, twitch, bend, change of direction skills, physicality, and play speed, albeit against JV competition or in un-padded situations. A good sign of continued progression will be if he can be a varsity contributor/starter in 2024, and you can assume some inches will be coming soon as his brother is 6’5, but getting that first offer under his belt is an indicator that things are going well this offseason and there’s a chance this recruitment could bump into the big leagues soon. Big season for Green coming up this fall.

There has been a TON of hype surrounding 2027 Lee’s Summit North OLB/EDGE Caleb Green coming into his initial season of high school football, all of which is very much deserved. The younger brother of current Oklahoma Sooner freshman OL Cayden Green, a former consensus four-star prospect from Lee’s Summit North, younger bro Caleb had a tremendous showing the summer camp circuit and was comfortable, successful, and at times dominant against large, strong, and experienced high school OL as a still-8th grader in his summer entering high school. He was especially impressive at the vaunted Lindenwood Mega Camp in June, as well as the KC Varsity combine in April and a few other showcases preceding those events, as his twitch, hand usage, explosiveness, and bend that he displayed at the offseason, non-padded events has come in very handy now that he’s padded up as a freshman at LSN. He’s been dominant in non-varsity action this fall and has posted multiple multi-sack games as a JV DE/EDGE. The get-off, twitch & quickness, bend, and closing speed has made him unstoppable at times against JV OTs, and his build, effort, physicality, and technical prowess has made him a nightmare for opponents to gameplan against and frankly dominant as a freshman on junior varsity. Green’s natural gifts and athleticism make him a must-watch and must-know when talking future P5 stars from Missouri. He’ll be one of the best in the budding 2027 class when it’s all said and done.

is busy stopping Edge rushers…younger brother Caleb thrives on causing havoc. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound Edge rusher is exceptionally quick off the snap and is into the backfield before many Offensive Tackle’s are even out of their stance. Currently listed as an Athlete because he’s a bit of a tweener with his size, but I fully think he’ll eventually become a highly-recruited Defensive End. He has exceptional hands, shooting them quickly and using them to keep would-be blockers off him. Once that height kicks in, like this 6-foot-5 Cayden, it’ll be all over but the crying.
