It’s easy to see why Stanford likes Caleb Carson Caleb Carson 6'2" | 185 lbs | DB Lovejoy | 2026 State GA . He comes in at a long 6’2 185 with room to grow. At corner, he is a prototype. He has quick feet, good length, and fluid hips. He shifts momentum downhill well and is more than willing as a tackler. This is a classic “don’t overthink it eval”, which is why he is expected to land at the P4 level when all is said and done.

I’m going to cheat here. I said unranked players but I’m going to highlight this 6’2 185 DB that ranked 414 of 414. Carson possess natural athletic ability and his high football IQ makes him a threat/prospect at multiple positions on the field. He shows outstanding footwork, great hips and is a stick on coverage guy in the secondary. Carson has great hands and I could easily see him playing WR at the College level. Just as good off the field with a 3.7 GPA.
He has been hot in the recruiting circle this offseason. Dozens of programs have extended offers with Stanford, Buffalo, and Southern Mississippi being the most recent. Stock Riser.

A fantastic athlete in the 2026 class who made plays on both offense and defense last year, Carson earned a well-deserved offers from Buffalo, Wofford, and Campbell over the last week. He’s an instinctive, sure-tackling defender in the secondary who can make plays at both running back and wide receiver on offense. He’s one of the best pure athletes in the region and is bound for a really strong senior season in the fall. Don’t be surprised if more offers come his way over the next two weeks and into the summer.

A metro-Atlanta athlete south of the City who shined on both sides of the ball last year, Carson is coming off a big junior season for Lovejoy where he showed plenty of speed, hands, and instincts in the secondary. He plays hard, showed toughness, and a competitive drive that was fun to watch on tape. He shows good fundamentals at cornerback with quick feet, loose hips, and a knack for staying with opposing receivers down the field. His best football is still ahead of him, and he’s likely bound for a giant senior season in 2025.
