Filleman brings a unique blend of physicality and playmaking ability to this defense. He is comfortable dropping into the box, he can disrupt plays at the line of scrimmage or bend the edge to sack the quarterback. In coverage, Filleman excels at reading a quarterback’s eyes and making timely breaks on the football, often turning turnovers into scoring opportunities. His vision and closing speed make him a constant threat in zone coverage, while his tackling ability makes him reliable against the run. As one of the top safeties in his class, a strong performance in Week 0 could further elevate his status as one of the most complete defensive backs in the state.

As he continues to develop, expect his stock to rise, making him a name to watch among the state’s top safeties.
