Calloway was a standout performer among the running back group with the athleticism and versatility as a skilled receiver he showed at Sunday’s camp. He’s a strong, explosive athlete at 5’8″/185 that generates power from the ground up with his strong lower half and showed impressive body control as a pass catcher in the 1v1 period. He was a breakout playmaker for Helix last season as the primary ball handler out of the backfield with 450+ yards and 2 TDs on 111 carries. On film, he’s a downhill runner that’s at his best getting north-south between the OTs with the physical style he deploys and exceptional ability to drive through tacklers and rack up yards after contact. Calloway is an up-and-coming RB to keep an eye on out of San Diego.
