has been a key force up front for Nitro. Operating in the heart of their defensive front, Snyder consistently disrupts the middle, shedding blockers and closing running lanes with authority. His ability to win one-on-one matchups and create penetration has led to 61 tackles and 26.5 tackles for loss this season, making him a disruptive presence on every down. Snyder’s physicality and awareness have been central to Nitro’s defensive success up front.

Another Nitro Wildcat who’s an important piece to their dominant defensive front is 2026 DL

. He’s a strong cog in the middle of their defensive line unit and does a great job of clogging running lanes at the middle of the line of scrimmage. Snyder has the strength and power to defeat double teams and get push on 1-on-1 matchups consistently. You’ll find him making a lot of plays at and behind the LOS, which has led to high production the last season and a half after moving down from linebacker.

rightfully gets a lot of headlines, but don’t overlook Snyder and some of his teammates in the defensive trenches this fall. He posted 42 tackles and 8 TFLs as a junior and should take a step forward as a senior. Snyder is a stout, strong athlete who can force double teams and is tough for a center or guard to block 1-on-1 due to his leverage and strength.

who settled in nicely for the Wildcats as a junior in 2024. That’s a more natural position for him given his skillset and he produced last season with 42 tackles and 8 TFLs. Snyder has impressive raw strength which earned him a spot on this list and that trait shows up on film. He’s a stocky interior defensive lineman who’s able to play with good leverage and fully utilize his time spent in the weight room. A bulldog would be a great description of Snyder’s game and play style as a low-center-of-gravity and tenacious athlete.

made his way over from Poca for his junior year and will be in the mix for one of Nitro’s linebacker spots which should be a strength of their defense this season. 2024 graduate Xiomar Henry leaves some big shoes to fill in that group, but Nitro has the bodies in the program to get some good production out of that position with Snyder firmly among them.
Here’s what we recently said about Snyder in our 2026 rankings New Additions article:

to take a step forward in his development as a junior with his new team after coming over from Poca. Snyder has good size at 6’0 220 for middle linebacker which gives him a good base to continue building on over the next two years. He’s still raw in some areas but has the ability and potential to keep improving and working himself into a more well-rounded prospect. You could see flashes of what he can develop into in his sophomore film if he makes some leaps over the off-season and during his junior season.”

Another promising young player for the Poca Dots is 2026 linebacker Bryce Young. Young has very good size for a rising sophomore at 6’0 210 and should only get bigger and stronger over the next three years. Film is limited of him right now but from what is available he appears to be physical and a good tackler. As he gets more comfortable at the varsity level Young will be able to play faster and react quicker. We put him on the 2026 rankings Watch List and as more film becomes available he could potentially enter the rankings in the 2023 mid-season update.
