Horton has improved every year he’s been in high school and took his biggest step this fall. He became the starter and proved to be a viable back with good game knowledge. He’s capable out of the backfield as well, which is always a plus. He runs hard and will follow his blocks, which sounds simple but sometimes can be forgotten as a back. His 897 rushing yards and 13 TDs set career highs, and he really caught fire late in the season.
