About Brett

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A disciplined route runner, with reliable hands, explosive speed, and ability to stalk block on offense. Defensively, I have the ability to cover in press man and zone coverage, with an eye for the ball, and a willingness to attack and support the run. Above all, a team first attitude.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

As a multi-sport student athlete, I am disciplined, determined, and I love to compete. I understand that there are no shortcuts or substitutes for hard work, consistency, and commitment. Apart from my measurable statistics, I believe that my character, work ethic, competitive drive, reliability as a teammate, and positive leadership are elite.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Future Business Leaders of America, Peers as Leaders, and Asst. Coach for Girls Flag Football youth program.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a multi-sport student-athlete, I have gained valuable time-management skills that have allowed me to succeed both academically and athletically. Above all, I am extremely passionate about the sport of football, and I will continue to relentlessly work, study, and train for the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I lost my uncle (my mom's brother) at the age of 40 in 2020 due to brain cancer. He lived locally and we were close. It has taught me not to take anything in life for granted.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that allows me to compete at a high level and provide a great education for the future.
