A fundamentally-sound prospect, ball security is a top priority as he holds the ball high and tight; Kunkel also uses his hands exclusively to catch the ball. Selflessly, we see him grind his face off for his teammates when blocking for them along the perimeter.

Kunkel does a nice job of allowing himself to deceive defenders with his speed, saving the jets for the open field. A ball-security minded prospect, we also see him attack the ball, catching it with his hands and tucking it tight to his body. A willing blocker, Kunkel absolutely sells out in order to see his teammates succeed. He is capable of making someone miss, although I do not think that is natural approach to being a ball carrier.
