who stepped in as QB1 this season for most of the year. Edwards made some nice plays at times behind center but linebacker may be his future in college while not playing on defense this season. He has quality athleticism that can make you picture him playing MLB in college after he bulks up some more and is a spot he could eventually settle in nicely at. Waynesburg has also offered Edwards a spot on the team and is an athlete to watch outplay his ranking in the future in college.

has done an admirable job stepping in at quarterback this season for the Colts and has done some nice things leading their offense in his first year at the position.
Edwards can execute an RPO offense and does a nice job pulling the ball and throwing with nice touch over defenders. He can run traditional option plays as well and is a quality athlete who can take off and run when needed as more of a power runner at the position. Edwards may best translate to linebacker at the next level, but he’s been a quality presence at quarterback for the Colts this season that shouldn’t be overlooked.

will be an interesting prospect to watch this season as he transitions to quarterback for the Colts which we haven’t seen from him to date. Edwards played just about everywhere last season as a junior and it’s hard to say right now which position is his best as the true definition of an ATH prospect. He has reps as an undersized defensive end, tight end, and receiver on his junior highlight tape but linebacker may be where his future is if he wants to play after high school.
Edwards’ arm talent remains to be seen, but we can confidently say he’ll be a much different style of quarterback than Humphrey was last season and it’ll be interesting to watch this version of the Colts’ offense in 2024.

is a raw athlete right now but there is a lot there to mold and develop the next two years. The 6’0 180 rising junior has the frame to add more weight and get stronger which will really benefit him in the future. He’s another Colt that I got to see in person at camp and made one of my camp standout lists. I see Edwards as a linebacker at the next level but he saw some reps at running back too in 2022. He’s a bit of a wrecking ball on defense and loves to muck it up in run defense. As he further develops and fine-tunes his play I believe he’ll be able to really elevate his game. Edwards is certainly not afraid of contact and is a sure tackler. He can also drop back in coverage some too and should get better at that aspect of the game as he gets quicker and faster.
