Sean Dent has made the most of his opportunities along Philip Barbour’s defensive line, giving the 2027 prospect another position for college programs to evaluate him at. We currently have Dent ranked as a TE, but the Colts have needed him on the front this season, where he’s recorded 25 tackles, 4 TFLs, and 2 sacks defensively. His 6’1 215 frame gives him a good starting point to develop into a college defensive end, with room to keep adding strength and refining his technique. His production is encouraging, and his film gives D2 and D3 programs reason to take a closer look at what he could become on the defensive side of the ball.
