WR/DB Tristen Price gave Philip Barbour another reason for optimism in Week 1, hauling in 3 receptions for 112 yards and a touchdown in the Colts’ win over Grafton. Price took advantage of some defensive miscommunication and made the Bearcats pay with timely throws over the top, showing his ability to be a vertical threat in the passing game. He also made an impact defensively, including a big sack, showing the two-way ability he brings to the field. More receiving opportunities should come his way as the season progresses, but this was a good teaser for what could be a breakout year from Price.

Price recorded 40 tackles and an interception as a sophomore, showing the ability to come downhill and make plays as a physical tackler while still having the range and athleticism to work in space and in coverage. With more experience and development, Price should take a step forward as a junior and has the tools to develop into a quality defensive back prospect over the next two seasons.
