Jackson is a favorite of mine and has been for a few years now, and he recently broke the seal and introduced himself as a true P4 prospect. He is raw, but I like him similarly to why I like Bennett. He is athletic, but his violence and ability to carry blocks and set the tone in the interior are impressive, and perhaps more important now than ever. Jackson goes for the kill shot, and his temperament can be a dream on the interior in college.

Jackson is set to take a massive step forward in our rankings and debut as a premier blocker in Alabama. Here is a snippet of a previous eval:

“Jackson is a truly impressive raw blend of size, speed, and power. He is a violent player who seeks out contact and plays through the echo of the whistle while staying engaged with ball carriers. He will go for the kill shot on smaller defenders, and he has the athleticism to reach them efficiently. Jackson will likely play on the interior, where he can use his physical brand of football on a snap-in, snap-out basis.”

Jackson has been a favorite of mine for over a year now, and recent offers from Alabama and Auburn add another layer to this recruitment. Jackson is a truly impressive raw blend of size, speed, and power. He is a violent player who seeks out contact and plays through the echo of the whistle while staying engaged with ball carriers. He will go for the kill shot on smaller defenders, and he has the athleticism to reach them efficiently. Jackson will likely play on the interior, where he can use his physical brand of football on a snap-in, snap-out basis. Jackson will be very high amongst the OL prospects in this class when the next update is released.

This isn’t my first look at Jackson, but it is the first chance I have gotten to watch his sophomore tape in its entirety. Jackson is athletic, strong, explosive, and well-built in his frame at this stage. He is a truly violent player who works through the whistle and seeks out the kill shot, especially when engaging smaller second-level defenders. He will likely play on the interior, where he can consistently get opportunities to engage in violent play. Jackson is firmly on the FBS recruiting scene.

Braylon Jackson Braylon Jackson 6'4" | 295 lbs | OL Prattville | 2028 State AL is a dominant OL/DL from Prattville who’s emerged as a top prospect in the state’s 2028 class.

“Offensively, Jackson has the bend, physicality, and power to provide great rushing lanes and protection upfront. He explodes off the line, plays with great leverage, mobility, and strength, and can completely overpower whatever defensive lineman is across from him.

Defensively, Jackson has the motor, speed, and pursuit to cause a ton of problems as a pass rusher. He’s quick off the snap, has several rush moves, and uses dominant speed and power to fly by and overpower offensive linemen and get to the QB. I love seeing how versatile he is at the line. No matter what side of the ball he’s on, he can dominate.”

Jackson has seen his recruitment take off this offseason, and for good reason. He put together some incredible tape from last fall. Take a look for yourself below:
