Justin Outlaw is a talented 2028 WR who’s transferred back to his hometown to play at Prattville this upcoming season.

“Outlaw is a physical threat out wide who thrives on his size, hands, and vision with the ball. He’s a seriously reliable option over the middle of the field who consistently bullies DBs for the ball to create some highlight reel catches.

Outlaw is really productive after the catch. He sees the field well, does a great job following blocks, and has the speed and acceleration to turn upfield for some huge gains. Last fall, he consistently showed how versatile a playmaker he is out wide. I can’t wait to see what he does in his junior year.”

Outlaw showed a ton of great things in his sophomore year for Montgomery Catholic. I think he’s going to really surprise people this upcoming fall- we’re all going to have to keep watch. Take a look at his film below:

Coaches’ notes on Outlaw: “Outlaw did a lot of the work this weekend that typically goes unnoticed. Justin ran good routes and caught a lot of short/undernearh passes. This eventually allowed Outlaw to get open on some deeper routes and catch a few big TDs to help lift us on day two in bracket play.”

Outlaw is young receiver that shows promise and polish. With an uncanny feel for pacing, and manipulation he’s a clean route runner with tempo variation and sharp footwork for his age. He doesn’t need huge space to be dangerous; his elusiveness in tight areas allows him to maximize touches and convert short gains into first downs.

As he fills out physically and adds explosive capacity, Outlaw has the skill profile to become a high-usage possession weapon with YAC upside and a name to keep on eye on in the 2028 cycle.
