McVay is off to an electric start to his junior season and is making his case as one of the best 2028 QBs in AL. Few QBs have weapons at their disposal like McVay, but he is playing his distributor role beautifully. The ball jumps off his hand, and he proves capable of ripping the ball into tight intermediate windows. He gets plenty of air under the ball, giving his elite receivers a chance at making a play on the ball. McVay is a baseball player with natural arm talent, and the early returns are impressive.
