Tryon, who is part of a very talented backfield at Maryvale, picked up an offer from Grove City. The two-way player for Maryvale is a standout producer at RB, and his likely position is at the next level. He is a big name involved in the post-season awards in Buffalo and runs an 11.1 100m. On tape you see some quality short area quickness and solid long speed that is confirmed on the track.

Tryon picked up an offer from Mount Union, his first opportunity, and looks to have another season as one of the top producers in Section VI.

Although he is not as big as Hill,

is Maryvale’s top rusher and in my opinion the best RB in Section VI for the class of 2025. He is a superb athlete that is a threat to score every time he touches the ball. Tryon actually averaged 1 touchdown for every 5 attempts, between offense and as a Kick Returner. Brayden also showed to be a dominate force on defense as a Linebacker.

. It seemed that every time Tryon got the football in 2023, he scored. Tryon ran for 1,214 yards on just 123 carries and 24 touchdowns. Brayden also added 3 kick returns for touchdowns on just 7 attempts. On average, he scored every 5 times he touched the ball. Brayden runs with purpose, he has power and extraordinary balance. He has excellent vision and his patience when running behind his blockers is second to none. Not to mention his blazing speed (12 of his touchdowns were 40 yards or longer, including 6 that were 70+). I’m an old school guy so I would be amiss if I didn’t mention what I love most about this young man; no matter how great the run was or outstanding the touchdown was, Tyron gave the ball to the ref, didn’t say a word and did it again. 2023 put Tryon on the WNY map. He should be in the Connolly Cup conversation as a Senior in 2024.

is my #1 ranked at this position. I love the way he plays; it’s all business on the field. He plays with a humility you don’t see very often. Tryon was the featured back for a dynamic Maryvale rushing attack, gaining 1,214 yards on the ground and an amazing 24 touchdowns on just 123 carries (averaging 9.9 yards per carry and 1 touchdown for every 5 rushing attempts). 2023 was a remarkable season as Brayden earned 1st Team All Western New York and All State Honorable Mention honors. He was also a Connolly Cup finalist. Because of his strength, balance, and impeccable vision, he was a menace for opposing defenses. Tryon also has blazing speed as half of his rushing touchdowns were from at least 40 yards out. He has received many collegiate camp invites but with another season coming up, I fully expect him to be a highly scouted player in 2024.

was probably the most overlooked player on the All State team, especially in Western New York. Tryon ran for 1,214 yards on just 123 carries and 24 touchdowns as a Junior. He added another 3 touchdowns on Kick Returns. He averaged a 5 to 1 touch to touchdown ratio. Brayden has the rare combination of speed, power and fantastic balance. His excellent vision and his patience on waiting for the play to develop made him difficult to defend. He has gained some interest from colleges in the area but his senior year should give him plenty of opportunities for more offers and another All State Team recognition.
