How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
My game style is very versatile, strong receiver and blocker but I also run the ball in our offense. Coaches comment how I’m extremely coachable and willing to learn a new position as needed. My dedication to earning my spot and learning new positions is unmatched. I understand defenses, how they are trying to defend me, and create space in coverage.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My mentality is to get better everyday, and outwork others. This extends to practice and our offseason program. Every year I work hard every practice to prove I belong. My love for the game and drive to be the best pushes me to give it everything I’ve got all the time.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I’m involved in link crew where I help the younger students feel comfortable at the school, and national honor society where I do community service to help my community. Academics are a priority for me with a 3.8 gpa and taking AP classes.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’m on the leadership team for my team. It’s my duty to set a high standard for my teammates, peers. I lead my fellow teammates by extreme intensity in practice to make us game ready!
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Right before my sophomore season I broke my hand in 2 spots. I was unable to practice for two months but while I was out I focused on things like lower body and core so that when I got back I was stronger then I was before. My entire high school career I’ve gotten the luxury of having a quality opponent to go against everyday in practice.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college with great culture, both campus and in football. On the football team I want to be able to establish brotherhood with my teammates along with great relationships with my coaches. Off the field I want a strong academics with a great placement rate and alumni network. In addition to an active campus life where I can meet new people.
