Going both ways for his Cavaliers team, Owen was steady as can be Friday night where he ran for almost 140 yards and two touchdowns while making several key stops, tackles on defense. It was a warrior’s like game from Owen against White Co. as he took tons of big hits but kept coming back and producing throughout the night. His work on offense was definitely a key factor behind the win but I feel his work on defense was more important. Some of the tackles he made were on 3rd down, which stopped the Warriors offensive drive and he did this on several occasions. His future in college is at linebacker and his work at this position on Friday evening continued to show me why he has strong upside for defense and sits as one of the best available linebacker prospects from our #TN2025 class.

One of the top two-way talents in the state, Owen is the leader and top force on this team that will be needed to produce in a big way to walk out as winners. He is very difficult to stop with the ball in his hands due to his physicality and speed but is also a fierce tackler on defense that will be keying and spying on Pinion the entire night.
