Gerry stood out to me pretty quickly when watching him line up with Nebraska Select 7even 18U at the Back 2 Ballin High 7v7 tournament during the middle of April in Cedar Falls. A legit 6-3 with long limbs and a projectable frame, the Lewis Central sophomore is an interesting receiver prospect. He’s a sound route runner for his age, combining easy deep speed with the athleticism to high-point the ball. A natural fit in the red zone, he’s a well-rounded wideout capable of winning all over the field. The ability to fill out his frame and add strength keep open a future at tight end and linebacker on the next level. He’s fluid in coverage and moves well laterally. Long arms help to keep throwing windows small. Gerry caught six passes and recorded 23.0 tackles (18 solo, 1.5 TFL) with an interception. A breakout in 2026 is loading.
Lewis Central boasts a strong history and reputation for having a roster packed with next-level potential. Colleges make sure to check in on the Titans when combing the state for prospects. Gerry appeared liked he’d be among the next in line for them as a sophomore in 2025. Eighteen of his 23.0 tackles were solo stops. He added 1.5 tackles for loss and intercepted a pass. Gerry caught six passes and flashed upside on that side of the ball, too. Gerry’s Hudl page lacks a 10th-grade highlight video, but it does contain files from individual games. On those clips, Gerry gives reason to believe he could develop into a college receiver/tight end, an edge rusher or an outside linebacker. His long arms, speed and agility give him a high ceiling.
