Expert Analysis
Sam Erman | Prep Redzone Scout
The 6’4″ tackle from Zionsville is as well built as they come for his age. He’s got true collegiate size already as a freshman. His arm length is incredible, almost like he’s slightly elastic. His footwork is up and coming and it’s something you can see he clearly spends time on. Sometimes, guys that big can be a bit clumsy. Fortunately, that’s not the case here with Maxey. He’s coordinated and moves fairly well. I expect him to be a full-time Varsity player as he heads into year 2. When the class is graduating, there’s a chance Maxey could be pushing for that #1 OL spot.
