Jaques was the top defender on a team that made its first postseason since opening last year. The Owyhee defensive end had 51 tackles and 16.5 sacks on the season. Using a quick first step that allows him to get a step on offensive lineman Jaques was able to use great hip and knee flexibility to bend the edge. A strong punch allows him to create seperation at the point of attack. Strong enough to set the edge of the defense and a really high motor are some of the calling cards for Jaques. This is a college level talent and should see his recruitment pick up after the new year.
