Recent Commitment: Boise State
Brekke has long been one of the top athletes across the region, and is a smooth operator from the tight end position that has tons of upside at the next level. Shutting down his recruitment and committing to hometown Boise State, he is another big time get for the Broncos and is a legacy recruit for them.

Brekke is one of the more under-rated prospects across the western region, and is a very smooth athlete with tons of growth potential as he moves on to the next level. He is a long strider that chunks yards, has a big catch radius and strong hands in traffic while able to beat both man and zone coverage. He shows he can box out defenders while wining on 50/50 balls, and is quick in and out of his breaks while attacking the ball in the air. Overall a tremendous athlete, he holds offers from Idaho, Portland State and Nevada, and should see a slew of other MWC and Big Sky schools come in through his Senior season. The Owyhee product is one of the top uncommitted prospects across Idaho.

Brekke is one of the top overall recruits across the state of Idaho in the 2026 class and should have a huge summer on the camp circuit. He is a very smooth route runner that has strong hands, a huge catch radius and can go up and make contested plays downfield and is a natural pass catcher that can stretch the field vertically and moves extremely well for his size. He has the frame to continue packing on weight through his college career and should fit nicely at the tight end position at the next level. He is definitely a prospect that will benefit from various camps this summer and should see a slew of offers come his way through his senior season for Owyhee.

Brekke checks into our rankings as the number one 2026 tight end prospect in the state of Idaho and as the number six prospect overall. He is a great athlete for a size that is smooth downfield/covers a ton of ground quickly in his routes and has a huge catch radius with strong hands and body control when making contest catches. He has nice upside at the next level and should continue growing into a FCS+ tight end prospect with tremendous upside. Brekke is rated as another 3-star prospect per 247-Sports and holds a early offer from the University of Idaho.

Brekke is one of the more impressive athletes in the western region, and has outstanding body control, movement abilities and downfield speed for someone his size. He shows the ability to stretch the field, make contested catches and has a huge catch radius while able to pluck the ball out of the air and track over the top while very physical with the ball in his hands. Brekke impressed at multiple camps this off-season, and checks into our rankings as the number 2 overall recruit in the state right behind Tanner. The rising Junior is currently rated as a 3-star prospect per 247-Sports and holds a hometown offer from the University of Idaho.

Brekke has had one heck of an offseason where he has become in many publications one of the, if not the top prospect in the class of 2026. An elite athlete that is a match up nightmare in coverage as he cant be covered by linebackers and is to strong for safeties. He runs smooth routes with natural pass catching ability and a really strong frame. He is everything you are looking for in a Division 1 tight end. Should really jump up into the top five of our rankings at the beginning of the season.

One of the most well rounded athletes in the state of Idaho, Breke is projected to play TE at the next level where he has torn up the summer competition. There doesn’t seem to be a linebacker or safety that has been able to match up with him one on one. Long athlete with fluidity to his game, natural hands and jumping ability. He is a monster for Owyhee and it is not surprise why he is going to be a highly recruited prospect in the class of 2026.

Brekke has had a astronomical rise this offseason where he has put together an impressive camp showing. He has been the MVP in almost all the camps he has attended this offseason. He is going to be an elite prospect with the ability to really get in and out of his breaks. Strong hands, with great ball skills and natural pass catching ability. Great route runner who creates separation and then can go up to win 50/50 balls.

Brekke is another candidate that should be moving up our 2026 rankings in the next update, and is showing this off season why he is one of the better ’26 recruits Idaho has. He is a very impressive playmaker with good speed downfield, a big catch radius and strong hands while able to make contested catches in traffic. He has impressed at multiple camps/on the 7on7 circuit this early Spring, and should be a big time weapon for Owyhee in the fall and draw college attention.

Brekke is another playmaker on the outside with elite length and good size/strength for the position that should translate well at the next level. He will be a four year varsity player by the time his career at Owyhee is over, and should draw no shortage of college interest over the next two off-seasons. As a Sophomore, he went over the 500 yard marker on 40+ catches, while adding another 6 TD’s receiving. He has a very physical presence off the line against press coverage, shows box out abilities and can high points balls to make contested catches look easy downfield while a big time mismatch in the red-zone due to catch radius and physicality. He can run a variety of different routes, but excels at taking the top off over the middle and shows an open field gear to create seperation.
