I had the opportunity to see Davis in action last summer at the Pylon Skills Camp and have been following his journey ever since. His tight technique and footwork are textbook and are looking more effortless by the year. During his junior season he showed more of an aggressive approach and craftiness, causing fumbles and ripping the ball right out of the ball carrier’s hands. Davis is currently camping through the DMV and surrounding states and earned his first D1 offer from Sacred Heart University. As long as he keeps consistently improving, I expect for Davis to accumulate a few more opportunities.

Ashtons coverage is textbook on his film; he gathered a few interceptions and plays through the whistle, swatting passes away that most DB’s would give up on. Davis was a standout out of the DB group at the Pylon Training Camp Series earlier this summer. I watched him put his skill on display, showing the same scrappiness and relentlessness he shows when finishing plays on film. As a third-year varsity player lookout for him to separate himself from the pack this season.

Ashton was the honorable mention in the DB group. He is very patient in coverage and does a good job of staying in the receivers’ hip pocket. On short routes he closes and is sure to get to receivers’ hands. He showed good technique and a short memory, he jumped at a lot of match ups.
