Continue ReadingPrince is an explosive utility player that can be a threat at running back and receiver. Carrying the ball, he hit the hole and accelerates quickly. Out at his slot receiver position he has a knack for feeling the open hole along the seem. Prince is another addition to Rock Creeks offense they’ve made this off season.
Johnson is a backer with a high motor and shows good awareness, making him a weapon on the defensive side of the ball. Some things really stand out on Noah’s film like his ability to create turnovers, and urgency to the ball. He had an interception by reading a screen, forced fumbles when he got to the QB and racked up more than a handful of sacks. It’s safe to say that Johnson is a prospect you want on your recruiting board.
Ashtons coverage is textbook on his film; he gathered a few interceptions and plays through the whistle, swatting passes away that most DB’s would give up on. Davis was a standout out of the DB group at the Pylon Training Camp Series earlier this summer. I watched him put his skill on display, showing the same scrappiness and relentlessness he shows when finishing plays on film. As a third-year varsity player lookout for him to separate himself from the pack this season.
Alcide makes plays from his middle linebacker position sideline to sideline. He stays square to the line as long as possible and stays locked in on the ball carrier meeting them in the hole or chasing them down through a crowd. Evan is constantly raking at the ball and forced some fumbles because of it. He also plays some running back on offense showing some athleticism, surprisingly being very agile.
Nesom shows some promising skills on the defensive line. He explodes off the ball and lays out to make the tackle in the back field. One play on his film really stands out where he takes on two blockers, split them and still makes the play. Leonardtown could have a pretty good prospect in their hands as he grows with this varsity team.
