Winona State secured one of the most talented quarterbacks from this past season, AJ Palicki. Standing at 6’4, Palicki is a sizable quarterback with significant arm strength. He faces no issues pushing the ball downfield to his playmakers. Not only is he a prolific passer, but he can also challenge a defense with his legs. Palicki will be a perfect fit into Winona State’s offense as a true dual-threat quarterback.

The dual-threat quarterback out of Willowbrook put together an impressive senior season. Palicki has all the tools to be an elite quarterback at the next level. He measures in at 6’4, 215 lbs. Especially considering his size, Palicki is impressive in the quarterback run game. With plus speed and elusiveness in the open field, there is always a threat for Palicki to run the rock. In the passing game, he can make a variety of throws. Whether its pushing deep balls down the field, hitting intermediate shots into tight windows, or taking what the defense gives him on shorter throws, Palicki is the total package who is still available as the future starter for a lucky college program.

I first became aware of Arthur when he came up to the PRZ WI Showcase. I liked what I saw then, and it is great to see that he is still improving. The QB has proven to be a dual threat, scoring 5 TDs through the air and on the ground for 10 total. The senior has a naturally strong arm. He can push the ball 30,40, 50 yards downfield without having to hitch or really step into it. The ball jumps out of his hand, especially when he needs it to on tight windows. The bodied QB, 6’4″ 215 lbs, is a physical runner as well. He powers his way through arm tackles and uses that contact balance to also stay up in the pocket when hit. Palicki also does a good job using that athleticism to pass. He doesn’t look to tuck it and run when pressured. He will buy time, stay poised, and keep his eyes downfield. This is definitely a hidden gem to take a look at.

stood out on film while grinding tape for the PRzIL 2024 rankings update. I’m not sure how he doesn’t have an offer yet, as the tape is impressive in a tools and physical sense, as he possesses a big arm, smooth throwing motion that generates noticeable velocity, and can fit in the ball into very tight windows for the prep level, and put the ball on a rope, but will also put touch on the ball when needed. There’s good ball placement on tape, a quick release, and it looks like he sees the field well, as well as step up into the pocket to buy time but is a throw-first QB who keeps his eyes downfield. He also runs the read-option well and makes smart decisions as to when to take or give the rock and is a powerful runner who uses that big frame and strong lower body to his advantage. Willowbrook only went 5-5 last fall, and I don’t have stats available for Palicki, plus I haven’t seen him in person in a camp or padded setting, so I don’t have the complete picture, but there are some impressive throws and physical tools in the junior tape that is definitely worth taking a flyer out on. Going to be a big fall for the 6’4, 215 lber.

I got the chance to see Mr. Palicki LIVE in person last fall during his playoff matchup and he did nothing but impress. Fast forward to this season and he hasn’t missed a step. This young man is one of the Top Pro-Style QBs in his class, just turn on his highlights below to see for yourself. His arm strength and arm talent are up there with the best QB Illinois has to offer to the next level. Need him to hit hole shots across the middle of the field? He can do that. Need him to add a touch on deep shots downfield? He can do that too. Need him to hit his receivers in stride? You got it, he can do that too. Don’t sleep on this young man, he’s as good as they come.
