Kaiden Maurer
Kaiden Maurer
Kaiden Maurer had a monster night to lead his team to a victory and stay undefeated on the year. Maurer had plenty of big plays through the air as well as on the ground. He threw for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns – he also ran for 109 yards with 2 more touchdowns rushing. He also showed up on defense with a big fumble recovery late in the game.
In the biggest game of the year Loyola’s Mike Baker Mike Baker 5’10” | 185 lbs | K Loyola Academy | 2024 IL showed up to have himself an impressive performance. He was able to score the games first touchdown on a long touchdown reception for 65 yards. Loyola was able to control the field position game due to the right foot of Baker. Baker was able send all his kickoffs for touchbacks as well having a monster 74 yards punt that was able to flip the field for the Ramblers. He also had a 45 yard field goal right before half.
Vincent Muci
Vincent Muci
West Chicago needed to win on Friday night to get into the playoffs. They ended up taking down Larkin 35-19 to punch their ticket to the post season.Vincent Muci accounted for all 5 touchdowns for West Chicago and rushing for 189 yards on the ground. He scored 4 of his touchdowns on offense from the running back spot but he was also able to score on a blocked punt.
AJ Palicki has been putting up big numbers all year and Week 9 was no different. In another great performance Palicki was very accurate with the ball going 20-29 for 344 yards passing and 4 touchdowns. He also carried the ball for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns. Palicki is playing at a high level as he enters the playoffs and has the talent to take his team on a run.
