Libertyville took care of business on Friday taking down Mundelein 41-0. A big reason for the victory was because of Quinn Schambow Quinn Schambow IL performance. He was efficient throwing the football throwing for 69% completion rate. He was able to push the ball down field for 431 yards passing and 6 touchdowns on what would turn out to be his best performance of the year so far. Schambow has had an impressive year so far and I don’t expect him to slow down as we move towards the end of the season.

Princeton also had a commanding victory on Friday night beating Bureau Valley 42-0. They were able to establish the run game with Casey Etheridge. The shifty running back was able to make the most of his 14 carries on Friday night rushing for 205 yards. Etheridge was able to break some long runs averaging 14 yards a carry. His three touchdowns ended up being the exclamation point on a dominating performance for Princeton.
It only took Navontae Nesbit Navontae Nesbit 5’9″ | 155 lbs | RB Mt. Vernon | 2024 IL 6 carries to make this list. With those 6 carries he was able to net 207 yards and 6 touchdowns. Every time he touched the ball on Friday night he scored. This was truly a mind blowing performance. He is an explosive back with he ability to break the long touchdowns runs. Nesbit has been the workhorse this season for Mt Vernon with over 1,000 yards rush on the year and averaging 7.9 yards a carry.

Jason Penza Jason Penza 6’2″ | 185 lbs | QB Crystal Lake Central | 2024 State IL lit up the scoreboard against McHenry this past weekend. He led his offense down the field all night accounting for 5 touchdowns on Friday. The senior quarterback was great in the pocket displaying his accuracy and touch. He does a great job keep his eyes down field looking for the big play to his receivers. He has been playing at high level this year and the wins are pilling up for Crystal Lake Central.

Highlights
AJ Palicki was able to display why he is one of the best dual threat quarterbacks in the Chicago-land area. He had a dominating performance through the air as well as on the ground. He had 348 yards passing with 2 touchdowns paired with 21 carriers 178 yards and 3 touchdowns. When Palicki goes the offense goes for Willowbrook. He is a true weapon and the 5-2 Warriors will keep looking for Palicki to lead this offense the rest of the year.
