He has the playmaking ability to be one of the best defensive backs in the northeast and he’ll be a difference maker for Curtis in the fall.

The anchor of the secondary for Curtis High School in Staten Island Cabrera has really good range. Cabrera likely projects as  a safety at the next level because of his instincts and willingness to tackle. Cabrera already holds offers Temple, Syracuse, and Missouri amongst a few others. Cabrera is still a little raw in man coverage but his skillset projects him as not only a Power 5 player but someone who can easily continue to be a top player in New York as he develops.
