Schlemme wasted little time in catching my attention when I watched Clear Creek Amana face Newton on Oct. 10, 2025. The senior hauled in a long touchdown pass on the Clippers’ first series. He beat tight coverage against a good DB, won the ball and sprinted the final 40 yards into the end zone. Schlemme also was among CCA leaders with 7.0 tackles, six of which were of the solo variety. A state title in the long jump helps highlight his high-end athleticism, which is readily apparent on the gridiron. Schlemme utilizes it and long arms to make difficult catches or close in during coverage. His projectable frame can add strength and mass without the loss of the speed, quickness and agility that lead to success already. Schlemme is a prospect for colleges effective at developing talent and seeking upside.
