Timely and effective blitzer off the edge and through the A-B gaps. Good pursuit of the football once he enters the backfield. Some reps show he can seek out the football and meet ball carriers before they hit running lanes off tackle. Provides some pass-catching reps as well as some reps with the ball in his hand at the LOS. I think he’s got the lateral functionality to move to OLB if need be at the next level. He eats at MLB at this level. This kid is a hidden gem for a program in need of a tone-setting, big linebacker.

Say what you will about the win-loss record, one thing you can’t deny AB Carroll is that they have an absolute stud at left tackle working for them. If you’re up against ABC, you might want to put your best pass-rusher on the opposite side of the line. Dilks already places as a fringe D1 prospect, yet I think he has a real shot at cracking the top 250 or 200 if he continues the war path he’s on. So powerful at the point of attack, Dilks doesn’t need much to displace his assignment. Can’t forget about his abilities on the defensive side of the ball. An all-catholic potential two-way player, Dilks has shown up for his Patriots. Big fan of this kid.

Jesse Ventre Jesse Ventre 5'8" | 150 lbs | WR Archbishop Carroll | 2024 State PA is another Patriot that I’m fond of. The passing attack has been shaky at best this Fall, so production hasn’t been spectacular for the wideout. Ventre has reeled in 6 catches for 84 yards in five games, both stats good for second on the team.

Anthony Spurio Anthony Spurio 6'2" | 225 lbs | LB Archbishop Carroll | 2023 State PA is a name that I’m excited to share amongst collegiate coaching staffs. 6’2, 225, a workout warrior who has found himself tied for the lead in total tackles this Fall. 29 total tackles registered for the MLB, throw in a pair of forced fumbles and sacks and you’ve got one of the hidden gems of the PCL. He doesn’t quite have full mid-season tapes out as of yet, when he does, I’ll be sure to share.
