He’s picked up some steam recently too on his recruiting trail, as the Minnesota Gophers were in Minot recently visiting Anthony when they were in the area because why not, when you are in Minot? This young man has a highly gifted football IQ and one that just keeps growing and growing by the year. He brings such a mixed bag of skillsets with everything he does on tape as Anthony is always in the right spot at the right time, once again contributing to his football IQ. The motor cannot be missed from his junior tape, as another notch has certainly been engaged in his junior season as the best DB we have seen in this state in a while.

Anthony was also a stockriser in this class, moving up a few spots, in a top tier of prospects, where moving up is hard to do. Anthony flies to the ball carrier like a man on a mission and I swear that happens everytime when I watch his sophomore tape. He shows off the best sideline to sideline presence in this 2027 class in the Dakotas as a prodominate nickel-back. At 5’11 190 pounds, Anthony is super wirey with his athletic movment and it won’t take long to figure that out on his tape. Even though the reps in pass coverage are lighter, Anthony has always been a young man that in live evals you can tell relishes the attention to detail and points out ample range to play in the proper spot as one that I feel is a free safety at the next-level.

He was on that passed the early eye-test right away in Sioux Falls being surprised quickly that he was just a freshmen. He impressed me with how much instinct and clear vision he played with for his age, constantly getting downhill in the reps I watched in Sioux Falls and Minot.
