The top ranked 2027 prospect in the city of Minot is one we have been on for a while, which is Minot High defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='1285223' first='Anthony' last='Alexander']. This young man has a strong nose for the ball and there's plenty of balance with how he attacks the ball in the run or pass game as he has excellent instincts and they have continued to grow year after year. He's got great position flexibility at the next-level, as he shows off the upside as both a safety and a nickel linebacker. Anthony is one of the most physical tacklers the Dakotas has to offer as one that has great persistence with his tackling ability. Holds just one offer thus far from down the road at Minot State and is our DB2 in this North Dakota class.

Another one that just holds one offer thus far and is a rising route-runner in North Dakota from our eyes, is Minot 2027 wide receiver [player_tooltip player_id='1614523' first='James' last='Pallotta']. This young man makes high-traffic receptions look way too easy with his excellent hands he has at his disposal and is a route-runner that you can quickly gauge the track background he has in the Magicians receiving core who ran a 10.74 100-meter dash just a couple months ago at 6'0 180 pounds which if you want verified speed, the track is the best way to evaluate it for college coaches. The more I watch the consistency of Jame's hands the more I am surprised he doesn't have more attention yet, as that should pop out further at college camps this summer.

Another pass-catcher out of Minot that should catch more attention this summer that also plays on both sides of the ball, is [player_tooltip player_id='1626782' first='Logan' last='Ludwig']. The 6'2 185 pounder shows off a durable pass-catcher that makes his receptions count for more getting yards after the catch and thru contact as well. At his size, Logan has good adjustability to the ball with his ball-tracking ability as that's one big thing that standouts ability this 2027 Minot wide receiving core, they all do a great job adjusting their routes on the fly. Logan also has a well-sized catch radius and sizable hands that get noticed time and time again on tape. No offers yet, but Logan has a good amount of D2 interest from around the NSIC.

A new name that has emerged as a 2027 linebacker to watch for, is Minot's Robbie Spraggs. The 6'0 195 pounder doesn't take long to show off his good vision as one that I feel can grow to be more explosive when he attacks the ball carrier, but surely has solid change of direction to grow. Robbie seems to show a steady knack of instincts positioning him well with his pursuit angles to make key tackles in the run game. He shows that he can extend his tackle box outside of the inside box as Robbie intrigues me with how he attacks the hip of the ball carrier. He plays on both sides of the ball, and from the light reps at fullback he shows that he's a capable blocker at fullback that can gain some leverage. Should be one that gets on our 2027 recruiting board in North Dakota.

Yet another 2027 wide receiver from Minot is one that has been on my 2027 board in North Dakota for a while, which is [player_tooltip player_id='1287892' first='Tariq' last='Bell'] as he's one that has progressed a lot since I got my first live eval on him. He's got one of the most producitve route trees in this part of North Dakota and what I have always been impressed with this young man, I never have felt that his size is a factor is the receiving core as his mix of fluid route-running, growing durability getting yards after the catch as a three level wide receiver that has great hands. Those hands also excel well in high-traffic areas as Tariq has a good shot as playing slot receiver at the next-level.

Moving over to the Minot defensive side of the ball, we zone in on Minot defensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1627089' first='Parker' last='Fritel']. The now 5'11 230 pounder has grown some powerful hands getting thru contact and right into the cusp of slowing down the run game early as a DT prospect that looks like a blue-collar type defensive linemen from my eyes. He's gotten quite a bit quicker with his get off off the snap which shows why he's able to consistently penetrate into the backfield with more acceleration. He's also got the short area vision to get more well-versed pursuit angles and is one that certainly projects as a DT at the next-level that has plenty of frame yet to add in the near future.
