Andrew has been out all season, but he’s still absolutely a top 8 running back in Michigan’s class of 2027. Pure speed, and reminds me a little bit of Donovan Edwards when he was at West Bloomfield. Still has some improvements to make, which I won’t mention here. I’m still pretty dang high on Andrew as a prospect, and I absolutely think he’s a G5 talent.

Andrew places #3 in this elite Michigan RB group.
I beleive that Andrew has proven himself more than most on this list. We know about Andrew’s breakaway speed, and we’ve seen his home-run hitting ability. Being in the OK-Red and facing the high-end run defenses helps a little bit, too.
On top of that, Andrew has traveled plenty of miles this offseason in pursuit of improving his game and earning more exposure. In that pursuit, Andrew was finally able to earn his first Division 1 offer from Toledo. If Andrew shows improvement this season, he could inch toward that #1 spot.

The only running back on this list with zero FBS offers.
It’s a little puzzling to me because Andrew will be confidently ranked above players with FBS offers. Heck, I think there are a few FBS-offered players with clearly inferior tape.
Andrew’s #1 trait has always been his speed. Dude shoots out of a cannon every time he touches the ball. On top of that, he has great testing numbers across the board. 112inch broad jump backs up the explosiveness, and the 4.5s shuttle indicates good change of direction. Athletic profile shown on tape and in the numbers indicate FBS talent.
I do think that Andrew’s vision, cut quickness, and contact balance can be improved. Andrew’s running style reminds me a bit of Donovan Edwards, albeit less explosive and lacking the contact balance Donovan had coming out.
High-end GLIAC is what I think Andrew’s lowest floor is. I hope that Andrew can hit a new gear this season. He’s got a shot at #1 this update as well.

is another kid that will likely surprise some folks this season, but he’s not sneaking up on us here at Prep Redzone. Andrew was one of the best athletes in attendance at our camp and his highlights back up everything we saw from him.
He has some blazing quickness and abrupt change of direction. He’s balanced and has the ability to make defenders miss or just flat-out beat a defender down the sideline. He’s been working on developing his versatility and becoming an every-down back, which is no easy feat in the OK-Red. Watch out for a big season out of this productive back.

Andrew is a crazy athletic and crazy explosive running back. At our recent Prep Redzone camp, Andrew was far above average in every single testing category.
His highlight tape backs up what I’m saying(please, look at the play at 0:34). Andrew is incredibly explosive, and man, do I love his upside. Plus, the competition he faces in the OK Red is amongst the best in the state. Now, what I’m hoping to see is consistent improvement. A LOT of prospects (especially those not from powerhouse programs) tend to struggle to improve over the years. So, I’m looking for Andrew to step on the gas for the next calendar year. This offseason, I could easily see him earning a MAC offer. Next offseason, that could be a B1G 10 offer.

Andrew is a recent discovery. Although he’s a recent discovery, I’m highly anticipating his Sophomore season. Last season, Andrew showed several impressive traits that he should be able to build off of this season. First, Andrew possesses impressive speed. He’s got enough speed to outrun most second-level defenders and the explosiveness to quickly get past the front 7. If the 4.36 40 time in his X bio is correct, then that’s going to be incredibly attractive to colleges looking to recruit him.
Another great aspect of Andrew’s game is his power. Although he’s a bit smaller than some defenders, Andrew is willing to lay down a shoulder and earn some extra yards. Lastly, Andrew is a patient runner who knows that it’s usually a great idea to run within the structure of the play. I haven’t seen too much from Andrew this offseason, but I really hope he’s put in the work necessary to take that big step forward. If he did, then we could be looking at a Division 1 prospect. Time will tell, and I’m looking forward to seeing how Andrew fares on varsity this season.
