is a very powerful interior defensive lineman possessing elite physical tools. He is stout vs the run with the strength to reset the line of scrimmage and great length to stack and shed. Hogan shows excellent gap discipline and understands his responsibilities.

This is a big boy that doesn’t know how good he can be yet but he certainly showed glimpses of brilliance, competing at the PRZTN Winter Showcase where he had dominating moments. What O-linemen had a problem with the most about Hogan was his overall power and strong hands that would push guys back from his initial punch. Hogan did struggle at times with the opposition who matched his strength but more times than not, the Tigers rising junior won his battles. What I like most about Hogan is his mobility and power along with a body that can definitely take on more size and develop into a pass rushing force from the middle of the defensive line, so watch out for this Nashville native moving forward.

Hogan was a guy coming into camp that I was very interested to watch and learn more about and he did not disappoint as he performed well, earning top honors along the D-line throughout the duration of the PRZTN Winter Showcase. Standing about 6’2 270 pounds, Hogan is a true defensive tackle prospect that sports the body and frame to pack on more size to become a pass rushing force from the middle. Where the Ensworth rising junior stood out the most to me was during his testing and positional work where he showed off nimble movements along with active hands and the ability to take to coaching and directions. Hogan must continue getting stronger as well as forming his body more but the potential is there to develop into a bonafide college prospect.
