, a defensive back at Ensworth High School. Hopkins was stellar on both sides of the ball, making some great catches while also locking things down on the defensive end by hauling in the clutch interception. Hopkins has developed very nicely since I last saw him play, showing off great versatility and strength in the backfield.

He has solid size for his age and has grown a lot during his eighth grade season, while maintaining a level of athleticism and playmaking at receiver, running back and defensive back.
He has natural instincts and is a fluid mover with some explosiveness. He is a prospect that should develop into one of the better prospects in the state as he continues to get bigger and everything that comes with that.

, an athlete at Ensworth Middle School. In addition to excellent size and versatility, what impresses me the most about Hopkins is his explosiveness down the stretch, proving his ability to consistently execute solid routes and haul in the deep pass. I also like how Hopkins can utilize his breakaway speed to get open for the short pass and elevate off the ground to beat defenders to the ball.
