One thing that stands out on Turrisi’s film is his ability to set the edge. It may be his best attribute. He is also excellent at shedding blockers before making a tackle. Turrisi is a high-academic prospect who has a good football instincts that allow him to diagnose plays quickly. He always seemed to be around the ball at St. John’s Prep, where he recorded 80 tackles, including 15 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and one interception as a senior, when he served as a team captain. Turrisi also excels in pass coverage. His tackling form must continue to improve, but he has above-average closing speed when he has to come up and make a play at or behind the line of scrimmage. May need to add good weight.
