It is hard to believe Paramus Catholic had a losing record with how well their QB performed in 2023. Crew Colon not only threw for 1933 yards, but threw 17 touchdowns to only 5 interceptions. The 2025 QB has elite deep ball accuracy. Crew has a quick drop back which gives him extra time to survey the field and find the open man. And with excellent timing with his receivers, Crew is able to hit his men in stride play in and play out. Crew and his team have the ability to stun some teams in 2024.

Paramus Catholic was just one of two teams this weekend to win their game against an out-of-state opponent. In a 43-41 shootout Colon, the Paladin’s quarterback, led them to victory against Cleveland (OH) Heights. Although he was just 15 for 27, he led the state with 335 yards through the air – good for an average better than 22 yards per completion – and three touchdown tosses. Colon and Paramus Catholic face off against Hudson Catholic on Friday, September 1.

is one of the top quarterbacks in the 2025 class and over the course of the last 7 months Colon has showcased that on the field and at different showcases around New York. Colon has a good frame at 6’2, 190lbs but his arm talent is what makes him one of the best in New York. Colon has great ball placement and does a good job of making tight window throws and also keeping receivers in stride down the field. One of the best deep ball throwers in this class, Colon does a good job of using the sidelines to make balls impossible for defenders to make a play on while still allowing his receivers to make routine catches. Colon, one of the most poised quarterbacks in the class makes a big jump from the watchlist to the top 20 overall, and #4 QB in the state.
