Right away, Staten’s play speed stands out. With the ball in his hands, he changes the game. He accelerates quickly, pulls away from defenders, and consistently turns routine touches into explosive plays. That speed shows up on every snap.

Out of the backfield, Staten gives Donovan Catholic a true matchup weapon. He runs with burst, creates chunk gains, and then shifts seamlessly into the passing game. Against linebackers, he wins on routes, finds space downfield, and makes defenses pay when they lose track of him.
