The Navy commit looks to continue his high level play at the QB spot for Oakdale. After an impressive junior year of over 2,000 total yards on offense and 24 total TDs, he is a true dual threat QB. Alex has a live arm and can shoot it down the field to along with his athleticism and long stride as a runner. Look for Alex to put up big numbers as he has a good group of weapons to get the ball this year as well. I can see Alex being a top QB in the state this fall and take Oakdale deep in the playoffs.

Alex is a player I saw live earlier this year and his athleticism cannot be ignored. Now as of this week it hasn’t been as he picked up his first offer from Cornell. With his 3.8 GPA it is no surprise that an IVY school would be after him.

As a sophomore he mainly played WR but took over the QB duties this year. Dynamic with the ball in his hands, Alex can scramble & run for big chunks of yards. He possesses a long stride with shifty hips and good wiggle making him tough to get a clean hit on in open field. Throwing the ball Alex is capable of uncorking the ball down the field with good velocity and arm strength. Overall he is a high end athlete ( basketball player as well) and could see him playing multiple positions at the next level depending on scheme and how teams want to use his skill set. I expect plenty more offers to come Alex’s way this winter & spring from D1 schools.
