Solomon has had quite the year, but to play at such a high level against a team expected by many to repeat as state champions is impressive. Against Grimsley, Solomon had three tackles for loss, six solo tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and a blocked field goal. It’s not the first time he’s filled the stat sheet this year, and it looks like the transfer to East Forsyth has paid off.

Per his Twitter/X profile, Adrian has switched schools over to East Forsyth after having a productive season for Eastern Guilford last season. Playing primarily outside linebacker, Adrian really excels at being a physical player in space and tackling well both inside and outside of the box. You could almost call him a hybrid strong safety in some instances, depending on the defensive scheme. Either way, he’s an impact guy with good speed who is most effective in slowing down the running game on the perimeter.

A multi-sport athlete, Solomon can really move, giving him some athletic upside that you don’t always see from players on our watchlist. He had a breakout junior season for Eastern Guilford, doing plenty to catch our attention and earn a spot in the rankings. One of the few true off-ball outside linebackers in the D2 area of our rankings, he’s a guy who go on a late recruiting run.

Solomon is a candidate to move into the rankings at the next update as he has a strong junior season. A big hitter, Solomon racked up 39 solo tackles as a junior for Eastern Guilford. He’s gained some weight and moves well, especially laterally, making him an excellent off-ball linebacker. We’re excited to see hold he continues to develop.
