An uncommitted IOL with a desirable frame for his position, Johnson is a guard with a mean streak that shows early on his film. When you watch his tape, his physicality immediately jumps out to you, both as a run blocker and as a pass blocker. He makes his presence felt when pulling down the line, frequently clearing a wide path for his ball carrier. His pass pro isn’t passive. When he’s matched up 1v1, he can stonewall a pass rush quickly, but when he’s unguarded, Johnson does a great job of finding work and teakettling unsuspecting defensive linemen.
