A rising junior earning a Missouri Valley offer the summer before their junior season is a big deal and a can’t-miss indication of a player who needs to be watched as a potential Golden Gopher and overall FBS/P4 recruiting target. Well Aaron Dinukar Aaron Dinukar 6'1" | LB Moorhead | 2028 MN also happens to be a legit 6’1+, 220 lber. and was a starter on Moorhead’s inaugural 6A season that saw him trot their way all the way to the Prep Bowl and a Big School runner-up finish in 2025. Dinukar earned his first D1 offer from the University of North Dakota after a great showing in Grand Forks for the Hawks’ first prospect camp of the summer, wherein the Moorhead product showed off great size, physicality while padded, and a dynamic skillset that included smooth coverage and blitzing ability. Oh yeah, and he ran a 4.5 (hand timed) during testing.

Dinukar then followed it up with a performance at South Dakota State that frankly I think should have led to an offer, as he came in a rival FCS offer and put together one of the best coverage showings I saw of any LB during the 2026 Summer Camp SZN. Loose hips, the footwork and speed to stay in TE and RB’s hip pockets with ease, and eye-discipline more reminiscent of a DB, Dinukar was extremely dynamic in Brookings and I believe the best 2028 LB of the event.

Dinukar’s regular season highlights from 2025 display a LB who totaled 32 tackles as a sophomore, including having earned significant playing time against 6A competition as an underclassman, especially at U.S. Bank Stadium against Lakeville South in the 6A state semifinal. As a sophomore, Dinukar was a gap-stuffer and run defender with good instincts and processing around the box. He flowed to the ball quickly and smoothly, and could attack and disengage from multiple blockers in a rep. Plus, Dinukar showed he was a strong and comfortable 1v1 tackler in space with some serious pop and thump behind him. Going to be a huge season for Dinukar, who looks like he has all the ability to be a 100 tackle LB in 2026.
