Expert Analysis
Brian Phillips | Prep Redzone Scout
Cayden earned 6 starts his freshman year before missing time to injury. He has reclassified and transferred from St. Johns Prep. Cayden is a massive interior lineman that can move the LOS. He engages well and keeps his legs moving to knock defenders backwards. He shows his athleticism as a pulling guard and working across the line. His size and strength make Cayden a top lineman in his class.

! This promising 2028 prospect from Lawrence Academy has all the traits college coaches dream of in an offensive lineman. At 6’4″ and 320 pounds, his impressive frame stands out, and he demonstrates exceptional pad level that showcases both technique and power on the field. Cayden’s ability to effectively reach the second level adds another layer to his game, and his willingness to play with a bit of nastiness drives home his potential.
Despite suffering a season-ending knee injury during his freshman year, Cayden has already made a name for himself by earning starting time at the varsity level as a reclass freshman. This speaks volumes about his work ethic, resilience, and the trust coaches have in him even at such a young age. Evaluated as a developmental prospect, Cayden’s combination of size, strength, and skill makes him a standout player who certainly belongs on the radar of college recruiters. With recovery and further development, he has the potential to become a formidable force on the offensive line. Keep an eye on

Film Evaluation Notes: He has a good pad level, a very large frame, and can get to the second level. He has a bit of nastiness in him. He has a very good power block. He is getting varsity time as a freshman. Very good prospect. He will be ranked when the New England c/o 2028 rankings are published.

– Blanchette is a prospect in the process of reclassifying from 2027 to 2028, as is pretty common in the New England Prep School world.
– Had a good season at St. John’s Prep (Mass.) but will be off to Lawrence Academy (also Mass.) this upcoming season, to re-start his high school clock
– No bones about it, he’s a load on the O-Line. Has played Right Tackle before, but he’s a mauler and a road grader. Best suited as an interior blocker, enabling him for domination in zone or man-on-man blocking schemes.

Formerly a 2027 stationed out of St. John’s Prep (Danvers, MA). Now a reclass to 2028, the ever-intriguing Vayden Blanchette is ready to reset his blooming high school career at the Lawrence Academy. Kuefler and Tikue are additions that are likely to effect the W/L totals this coming Fall. However, this pick-up of Blanchette is a move for the future, a puzzle piece that should have the TLA coaching staff buzzing. Blachette’s tape showcases his prowess at ROG/LOG. Was asked to pull, not the smoothest mover but a young man who carries a ton of forward momentum behind his 300+ pound frame. A paver in the run game, tape pops when pulling but has equally impressive blocks head-up and when down-blocking. Huge upside in terms of size, huge plus in terms of early experience too. Interested in knowing where TLA will place Blanchette, I’m expecting he’ll stay IOL, might flirt with center or IDL too.

Highlight Film Review: “Blanchette” is a O-lineman who was positioned as a guard. His films shows the ability to pull and run in space and hit moving targets. Has a comfortable bend and can get both feet in the ground at presnap. He plays with good pad level while using leverage to sustain and hold his block. Appears to be effective in getting in position to pass pro, punch and anchor in place. He has Size: length, lower body frame, hip width, and growth potential.
Projection: His physical measurables (height & weight) align with FBS Group of 5 and/or High FCS Offensive Linemen.
