Angelo Stallone Angelo Stallone 6'0" | 195 lbs | LB Monsignor Farrell | 2027 State NY excels at the LB position. He is a player that has quick feet and the ability to get moving in an aggressive pursuit. By the same token, Stallone has the talent to blitz through the A and B gaps to cause havoc on the QB. His timing and explosiveness allow him to penetrate quickly. The ability to be an impactful force on special teams was a huge highlight in his game. Making clean, forceful tackles that caused a loss was key. Stallone also had snaps at the FB position, making lead blocks in designated runs. Overall, Stallone brings flexibility, high motor effort, and physical presence to every snap.

The LB Core, for Monsignor Farrell had a busy day, with a mostly rushing attack from the Gaels. Stallone was the leader for the Lions and had himself a great game.

Stallone, displayed outstanding pursuit, and vision throughout the game. I liked his tackling form, and he displayed good strength when meeting players in gaps. He is a smart player, and displayed good footwork for the Lions.

Read and reacts with a lot of patience. Smooth hips and quick feet coming off the snap of the ball at the LB spot. The ability to shoot into gaps with quickness and aggressiveness was evident. Furthermore, the coverage ability at the LB spot was at a high level. Tackles with great form and makes outstanding one-on-one tackles throughout his tape. At the FB position, he was able to display his receiving aspect on top of being a physical blocker in the run game. The will to want to get physical with the opponent shows on both sides of the football.
