The senior prospect has an offer from a D2 school right now. Ian is a fluid route runner that displays good body control. He has the speed to get behind DBs & the focus to make difficult receptions. Tuffs is also skilled at sitting down in the weak spots in zone coverage. On defense he’s tough from his FS spot which aids him on offense.

It seems like every week I am featuring a Hempfield Area kid. First it was Phillips, then Caesar, now Ian Tuffs Ian Tuffs 6'3" | 185 lbs | WR Hempfield-Greensburg | 2023 State PA . Tuffs the DB had quite the night, recording an interception and recovering a fumble for the team. That production couldn’t compare to Tuffs the wide receiver. Seven catches, 135 yards and a score. Tuffs could have easily gone in for an additional two touchdowns, with one catch being downed at the one and another go-route leading him out of bounds. Greater Latrobe had no answer for the Phillips-Tuffs connection.
