Prep Redzone takes a look…
Brayden Tyson Brayden Tyson 6'0" | 215 lbs | RB Brookwood | 2027 State GA – ATH – Brookwood
One of the top 2027 prospects across the country, Tyson is a tough, physical prospect with D1-caliber size already at 6-foot-0 210-pounds. He can play running back, linebacker, and even make plays along the defensive line. A natural athlete with quick feet and a physical build, it’s safe to say he has a real chance of making a big name for himself for the Brookwood Broncos this upcoming fall as a freshman. He looks the part of a big-time prospect already and loves to compete. He has the potential to be a tackle-breaking machine running the football, and he knows how to run down the ball-carrier at linebacker as well. He’s ready to have a big freshman season, and he already holds offers from South Carolina, Arkansas, and South Florida. If you don’t know his name yet, now is the time to learn it.
Mark Brown Mark Brown 6'1" | 190 lbs | LB Jefferson | 2027 GA – ATH – Jefferson
The younger brother of current 5-star Sammy Brown Sammy Brown 6'2" | 225 lbs | ATH Jefferson | 2024 State GA , the rising freshman for the Jefferson Dragons is looking to make a name for himself next in his first high school season. An outstanding athlete who can make an impact at a number of different positions, Brown is a tremendous young linebacker with speed, instincts, toughness, and natural playmaking ability. He’s easy to notice every time he’s on the field, and offers are starting to roll in for the promising young athlete. Without taking a single snap at the high school level, the speedy 6-foot-1 190-pounder earned his first offer this week from South Florida, and he’s likely to see more come his way soon. Like his older brother, Max does just about everything well on the football field. He can run, hit, has a natural feel for the game, and gives it everything he has on every play. He has the ability to make a big impact at both running back and linebacker, and he should make a real impact in year one next fall.
Grant Haviland Grant Haviland 6'4" | 200 lbs | TE Milton | 2027 State GA – WR/TE – Milton
The Milton Eagles already have one D1-caliber tight end on the roster in Ryan Ghea Ryan Ghea 6'5" | 220 lbs | TE Milton | 2025 State GA , and they have another young playmaker on the way in 2027 pass-catcher, Grant Haviland Grant Haviland 6'4" | 200 lbs | TE Milton | 2027 State GA . A dynamic, versatile weapon who can make plays from multiple positions on the offense, the current 8th grader already looks like a veteran player from physical standpoint at 6-foot-4 190-pounds. A promising route runner with dependable hands, it’s easy to see the potential that Haviland brings to the table. He’ll be playing alongside a lot of talented players on offense, but if he keeps improving and continues to add more weight and muscle over the next several months, the freshman pass-catcher could see the field early next fall.
Christian Hunter Christian Hunter 6'1" | 265 lbs | DL Milton | 2027 State GA – DL – Milton
There’s been plenty of hype surrounding the big do-it-all athlete heading into his freshman season at Milton, and there’s a good reason why. This big-time 8th grader is coming off a tremendous youth career where he dominated both at running back and one the defensive line, where he’ll be playing at Milton. A Born 2 Compete 3x POY winner, Hunter is a bowling ball at running back who had no problem running through defenders at 6-foot-1 250-pounds. Still finishing up his 8th grade year, Hunter is already practicing with the powerful Milton Eagles this spring and is hoping to learn and much as he can before his freshman season starts in the fall. The young man moves well for his size and is full of D1 potential. If he continues to learn and develop under an excellent Milton defensive staff, Hunter has the potential to make a real impact next season as a freshman.
