PRZ Winter Showcase Quarterback Preview Part 1: What to Watch for

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Each and every year when Prep Redzone host its wonderful showcases, there are always a good roster of signal callers that come along. This winter Showcase will host a tremendous number of talented quarterbacks in all different classes between 2026-2029. The big thing I want coaches, scouts and just anyone to see in general, is the arm talent of Parker. The extremely quick release and the ability to throw the ball from different angles. Not many quarterbacks especially at his age is doing what he's able to do at the level he is doing it. Parker is extremely athletic and can use his wheels but it's the arm talent I want everyone to see come January 24th. I have covered Parker throughout his middle school days as a three-time state champion and of course covered him as a freshman as he burst onto the scene. Frazier is a guy who is ahead of his age group in how he plays at the signal caller position. He has an uncanny ability to get the ball to his receivers in an accurate and efficient manner. He has the dual threat ability and plays with a very high level of confidence. The 2026 quarterback has an excellent arm and a strong release. His throwing ability and knowing where to throw it in the midst of a defender is really special. Anderson is a next level quarterback, and, in his playing, career has showcased his ability to hurt defenses with his legs and even more with his arm. What I want everyone to see here is his ability to adjust mentally and placing the ball consistently where it needs to be. Whitworth is a very talented quarterback with a great arm talent. I love his release of the football and how he is very confident in where he is going with the ball. He is a winner and seems to play with great edge. Baig had one of the best releases of the camp that day and he was very accurate. Baig has obviously developed and improved mightily since then and what I love about his game and what I want others to see, is how Baig confidently releases the football and delivers the ball in a hurry to his targets. He is a guy who is all-around within his game running and throwing but Baig tends to show out at these kinds of events just like he does in games on Friday nights.
