The PSR Showcase was a great opportunity to get a second look at Wallace, who I previously saw compete at the Jersey Juice event. Wallace continued to demonstrate why he will be pushing senior running backs for the top spot in Millville’s talented backfield. Already possessing what appears to have outstanding pad level he also has the feet to match. Wallace has shown that he can pick them up and put them down in a hurry, allowing him to redirect and evade danger as it is presented to him. Similarly, Wallace showed the ability to cutback without losing much of a stride to hit an open space away from the target hole.

Maybe it was because he was surrounded by his Orange and Blue Gang, but Wallace was the most valuable player from the Jersey Juice Underclassman Showcase at the running back position. It was as clear as the day’s sky was blue that he runs with a good pad level. We can see that Wallace is a stout running back. On the field this translated to having good body control – he did not have wasted movements nor did he have any trouble with balance. Finally, Wallace has show he can plant a foot, make a cut, and giddy up. These attributes led him to win matchups all morning long and thus the camp’s MVP at running back.
